First, this is at a client’s site and I am NOT the administrator. (I would NEVER set up an intranet this way. 3 Servers: NT 4.0, SQL, Com
8 w98 clients. There are several issues going on with this place, but today blew me away. On ALL the pc’s, theinternet explorer AND netscape, the only site that comes up is OMMNI.com. I even watched someone start their pc for the first time in 4 days, opened the browser and even though the homepage was msn.com (yes, in the homepage line on the properties sheet, too) Ommni came up. I have searched the WEB. My first thought: the web site is infected. No, I braved going there and left it with no problem. If there is a way for this to happen, I’d sure like to know. My second thought is the Network Admin has screwed with the configurations on the proxy server. Has anyone EVER seen this or have ANY clue where to start?
