I got a desktop with XP SP3 and all of my on board USB ports as well as the port in the front of the machine does not work. I first noticed it when the usb mouse stopped working. I tried plugging my mp3 player in, it seems to charge but not recognized in windows. I checked the device manager for the usb controllers and they look fine. USB is enabled in BIOS. Any suggestions?
