Would somebody please tell all the Pc makers out there to get together and try to make them all work the same! And why do we have to keep buying third party books and magazines with so called tips and tricks to make them work??? If there is anythingthe Government should get after Bill Gates about its this> make your windows operating system come with the apropriate information to make it work.Hey we don’t buy a car from Ford zand then have to go to chevy to get info on how to operate it!! somebody setn this compaq into real mode. She has a gui but is doing a msdos mode. Is this a virus?? she has lost her sound and won’t recognize the CDROMm and won’t load a driver for the CDROM. Theyt don’t have the installation disks or I’d wipe her clean and start over but thats impossiable when she won’t load the drivers for the CDROM. I think we should just trash it don’t you ?
I’m sorry if this doesn’t make sense but my brain is fried and I’m tired of shooting in the dark over this one
