If using multiple partitions and for example
‘put the windows operating system on a small 2 gig to 3 gig partition for quick hard drive scanning of the basic operating system; one inconvenience
is that windows uses a slider that allows for a maximun of 12 percent of the total size of the partition that can be set aside for creating restore points altho for some other small partitions it allows up to 20 percent. Why can’t
windows allow the option of using a separte partition just for creating restore points and the user could have as many gigs available for creating system restore points as required without having to make a partition 10 times larger than necessary in or order to get a half
decent amount of allocated space for that particular partition at a rate of 12 percent maximun of the total space of that particular partion or any other partitions that the user has created for storing othe programs etc.
