ALT+TAB in Win2K

By Big John ·

Another issue I forgot to ask about is that I get nothing when I try to use "ALT+TAB" to switch between open windows in Win2K.

Any ideas why this happens? Do I need to do something to "enable" this utility/function?

Thanks again for all help.

Check accessibility options and make sure stickkeys are not being used. Also, some programs do not allow alt + tab. If you use intellipoint software for your mouse, disable focus feature. Otherwise, no clue. =)

Thanks for trying, but I checked and "stickkeys" were not enabled. Regarding mouseware, I am just using the basic-default that comes on the Compaq Evo 610. Don't think Intellipoint is the system Compaq/HP uses.

Do you have NUMLOCK on?? If so, turn it off and see what happens

Good luck!

Thanks to you too, for trying. I am using a Compaq Notebook, and there is NO 'NumLock" key. Therefore, it is not "on".
