Altering Display resolution at logon

I would like to be able to change the display resolution on user Win2K PCs at login time, and restore it on logout.

The normal resolution would be 1024 x 768, but need to make it 640×480 for certain users who will be running a single program thatworks at the lower resolution.

Is this possible?
