    what shoul the core voltage be set at?

      for AMD athlon and duron chips the core voltage specified by AMD is 1.8 volts. On most boards this is automaticaly set.

      You can check your motherboard booklet. Most are set to detect it for you. The motherboard should have a jumper set to auto detect. I always take the default, I would not change the voltage unless you are having serious problems.
