    amibios beep codes

    2 beeps followed by 1 beep on pcchips m583lmr motherboard. I have changed sdram for known good. CPU pentium 100(good).Keyboard lights up then 5 seconds later lights again, then system beeps.
    can anyone advise me

      2Beeps-Parity circuit failure,parity error in first 64K of memory
      First banks are the memory banks CPU finds it’s first 64K of base memory,try switching the memory to make sure that it is not memory problem
      Check motherboard manual to see which isfirst bank
      1-beep is a dram refresh failure
      If memory is tested to be good then you will be looking at motherboard problem
