Hi all,
I have been working in an IT Services company (now for around 9 years). During these years, i have actually been only involved in functional areas, mostly around automotive and aerospace domains. I have not been able to work on any technology – Java, Dot Net, SAP etc. Although i have received training in C, i have hardly got to work in an production environment.
Now, i feel i need to start specialising in one particular technology. But, also a little concerned, if i am already too late to start now with a technology like Java or DotNet which has now become a very common skillset. I am not sure – mobile computing, cloud computing …- which one can i start delving into. I am open to any, and that’s the problem.
Could you please advise the technology which i could take up to train myself, with a potential demand say in the next 2-3 years. Or if there are any sought-after-these-days certifications (like the SAP ones) which i could take up.
Just thought of seeking some inputs from you guys, so that i have now some additional thoughts to think about.
