Many in my generation went to Walter Cronkite for the news. I was watching him on November 22, 1963, on July 20, 1969, on August 8, 1974, and on many less significant dates. Until he retired, CBS was my primary source for news. I can’t help but think he was disappointed in what the news has become since his retirement.

RIP, Walter. You have been, and will be, missed.
