android and symbian

i have a mobile which is sonyericsson satio, and it is symbian mobile, my question is,
can i apply or download android OS on it instead on its OS? or its impossible?

No you cannot do that, and yes, it is impossible.

Since each mobile device is a very specific type of processor and hardware, the OS needs to be written for that exact processor and hardware combo.

While every once in a while some hacker/hobbyist does some interesting OS transplant, like loading Linux on a PalmOS device, this takes a lot of time, effort, and sometimes money to make it all work.

Your phone runs a Texas Instruments OMAP3430 Cortex-A8 processor. While this processor does support Linux and Android, making all the hardware work is no small engineering feat.
