On Windows NT 4.0 Workstations with service packs 5 and 6, users at times get a dial-up networking window saying in so many seconds it will try a dial-up connection to the server to find the server which they are connected to on the lan. If they cancel out, it does eventually find the server they are connected to on the lan. It appears this only occurs when RAS is installed. I’m not sure this is a slow network performance problem or what. Please help.
