We have started integrating a few Gateway laptops into our company and have come across an annoying problem which nobody (Gateway, HP) seems to be able to give me any direction on. I have some Gateway Solo 2500s and Solo 2550s with HP 880C or 950C Desk Jets. Upon startup of the laptop, the printers try to print out a page. When they do print an “e” with a “^” above it is all that prints. This doesn’t occur when the printer is connected via USB. Any ideas?
