Another 0x80780119 error in Windows 7

By r_widell ·
I'm having an issue with a new install of Windows 7 Ultimate. After completing the install and configuration with the apps I wanted I tried creating a system image of the "System Reserved" and C: drives to an external 2TB drive with 2 ~1TB partitions: NTFS & ext4.

When I first got the error I looked up the Greg Schultz article on this issuehttp://www.techrepublic.com/blog/windows-and-office/fix-the-0x80780119-error-when-creating-a-system-image-in-windows-7-and-8/)
but when I looked at the drives, it doesn't seem to apply.

The properties of each partition are:
System Reserved: 100 MB, 69 MB free
C: 300 GB, 212 GB free
external NTFS: ~935 GB, ~439 GB free.

Even though the error message says I don't have enough drive space, it appears to me that I am, in fact, meeting the free space requirements.

I can always use Clonezilla or DriveImage XML to create a system image, but I thought it would be nice to get the Windows stuff to actually work.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
ron
