Come on, Bill. Your loyal customers just got used to Windows 2000’s bugs. Personally, I don’t have time to learn how to support yet another buggy operating system. For now, I’ll stick with Windows 2000 and keep applying service packs…. though I’m keeping an eye on what RedHat is doing with Directory Services. The Linux 2.5 kernel will be designed to provide a directory services structure that is comparable to, and compatible with, Microsoft’s Active Directory services. Now THAT excites me.
There’s a new joke emerging in the IT community::: How do you study to becomea Windows XP MCSE? Practice downloading and applying patches and SPs!
