another email address set on Exchange ?

By itask1 ·
Currently the company is running on a network with domain name 'abc'. The Exchange server runs supports the email addresses @abc.com and is part of the 'abc' domain.

Now, it is required to set up some email addresses example :
- 123@xyz.com- 456@xyz.com

Can the same Exchange server support another set of email addresses @xyz.com ? If yes, how to go about configuring ?

It is very simple, actually. Add @xyz.com to be allowed as inbound through your IMS. If it is just a few users, you can simply edit additional SMTP (Internet) address through Exchange Admin. If you need to do a bulk change, export the directoy and add a "secondary proxy address field" and add everyones additional @xyz.com address
