Are there any non-DSL still cameras being manufactured that have a maximum optical zoom range within 6X to 12x (or higher) AND which have an optical viewfinder AND which are not too bulky ?

As a reference for “bulky”, let’s use the Canon SX-10-IS (which has 20x optical zoom). I currently have an Olympus C5500Z which is only a 5x optical zoom. I’d like to not exceed the dimensions or weight of this camera. Maybe I’m looking for the impossible.
