Anyone have any idea on how to get 2003 SBS Premium to workgroup?

I have a client who was previously running 2003 SBS as a workgroup to act as a server for his medical records in the Medical Practise that he owns.

Now with an upgrade to a new version of the Base Software they require 2003 Premium which is only available in the R2 version and can not be set as a Workgroup only a Domain. Because of the way that the LAN is laid out it’s not piratical to move the server to the Internet Access Point because of all the Billing software that is currently installed on that computer so somehow I need to get the new version of 2003 SBS R2 to be available to carry the Medical Practises D Base of patient records. on to a Peer to Peer LAN. This entire LAN is running with Static IP addressing.

I’ve removed ISA, Exchange Server and everything except SQL which is all he actually needs the new version of 2003 for and it’s currently driving me crazy. Of course as this is a new client who I’m just doing a favour for and had no idea of how the LAN was laid out that has helped no end but now that I know what the problem is maybe after 2 X 16 + hour days I’m not thinking properly any more.

But I need a solution that is just turn on and run as the reception staff panic when a monitor is turned off so there can not be anything different to do from the user point of view. It’s just got to work when the individual workstations are turned on. The Server on the other hand runs 24/7 so that shouldn’t present any problems.
