AOL issues

By Frostyone ·
I am trying to convince management that using AOL software is like opening the door to a whole word of problems. Are there any articles, white papers, etc, outlining the associated problems of AOL (besides just being a rotten ripoff)?

I went to www.google.com and entered AOL problems and got 7,700,000 hits. I'm sure you could find something from a similar search. If you want to use mine, here is the link: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&q=AOL+problems

www.aolwatch.org always has horror stories of people getting ripped off by AOL. Your strongest point might be the ripoff issue....give it to mgmt. where it hurts the most - in the wallet. Good luck.

I would point out that AOL really means America's Online Losers. (LMAO)

Using AOL software is opening a huge hole in security. Is this a SOX or HIPPA covered compliant required organization?

Start with Fred Langa's column here:
