Hello! I’m having serious problems with AOL (imagine that!). I can dial up to AOL and get to wherever I want within AOL, but I can’t access any external web site. During 4 unsuccessful telephone conversations with AOL tech support, I’ve uninstalled AOL 6.0 and went to 5.0, upgraded IE from 5 to 5.5, ran the “repair IE” option (in add/remove programs), had to unbind TCP/IP from the AOL adapters, uninstalled and reinstalled DUN, went through a few support articles on support.microsoft.com, and ran through all the network settings and parental settings. The next step is to uninstall and reinstall TCP/IP. Since I know a few other people with the same problem, I’m wondering if anyone else had the same problem and got it fixed. This is on a Win95 box. No luck pinging Microsoft from the command prompt, either. Can anyone help?
(p.s. I also had ZoneAlarm, which I uninstalled and reinstalled). Any help would be greatly appreciated.
