I recently decided to redo my website hosted on my apache2 ubuntu linux 7 server.
The webserver always loaded my original index.php file until i deleted it and uploaded another.
From this point on it kept trying to download every index file in the root directory, whether it is simple text page or php.
It only does this for the root directory, all other directories display the index file fine, even for server generated directory lists.
I’m sure there is a relatively simple solution but its bugging for me ages now!
Does anybody have any ideas?
