Apple Air Port disconnecting my XP laptop from the internet.

Hi,
i am using a laptop with a builtin wireless lan
Intel Pro 2100 3B, and windows xp pro sp2.
i can connect to any AP. at any time normally.
but when i am at office, they newly installed wireless router (Apple Air Port) keeps on disconnecting me from the network and thats what happins.
1. i scan available wireless networks
2. i connect to my wireless network.
3. on the same window i see that i am not connected, although i only get the option of disconnect. which means i am connected.
4. i notice the wireless network computer at the notification area shows that i am disconnected.
5. i try to ping the router, it reply as a charm (avg. 2 ms).
6. i am connected to the internet and browsing normally.
7. suddenly i no pages open (after few minutes).
8. i ping the router but “destination not reachable.
9. i refresh the wireless network, to scan for wireless network in range, then the router starts replying back.
10. and same thing happens over and over , every few minutes i get disconnected then i have to scan again for wireless network to get connected again (because connection to my network is set automatic.)

Note: i have updated the drivers of my wireless lan, and of the airport. and still same problem.
another not, other windows and mac machines are connecting normally to this AirPort. only i have the problem. i guess its a compatibility issue.
if anyone have any clue where to search or whats going on. please reply.

thanks in advance.
