So Quicktime 7.6.4 is out and this time it includes a new software package and unlike the Apple Software Update program, the installation of this program of this is necessary for QT to function.
I took a look at the installer and if I was to take a guess I’d say it’s some sort of framework (a bunch of dlls in the Common Files folder sorted in folders with names like “CoreFoundation”. I don’t know if I’m right however and this additional package making me want to discontinue support of QT on my network.
Does anyone have more concrete information on what this actually is?
