    Apple cameras

    by llockard128 ·

Why do they keep putting more cameras onto the new phones instead of just bigger/better would it not save them money? Could they not just put a camera into the phone that does the things the others do? Also, I’m not the best at cameras so please understand if I’m missing something.

Maybe because the majority of the users are demanding it. Maybe not you, but life still goes on anyway. Technology is always evolving and the newer trends/products offer users more options. Silly question.

If they could offer the same quality cheaper, they would do that. So probably they can’t.

Optics being constrained by the size, you have a camera for telephoto, mid-range and macro. Then a face camera for selfies and video calls.

That’s a minimum of 4 cameras. Why? Physics.

Why Multiple Cameras on Smartphones Enhance Video Editing

      by evansbryne1 ·

      In reply to Apple cameras

Smartphone manufacturers add more cameras to improve photo and video quality by using specialized lenses for different purposes (wide-angle, telephoto, macro, etc.). This gives users more versatility without relying on one large sensor, which would be more expensive and limit quality in some scenarios. Having multiple cameras also allows for better depth sensing and enhanced effects like portrait mode.

      Great question!
From my own personal perspective because I am a photographer at heart,
The reason for adding multiple cameras is to offer a range of functionalities and improve overall versatility.
Each camera often serves a different purpose, like wide-angle, telephoto, or low-light capabilities.
Combining these features into a single camera might compromise performance or quality in specific scenarios.
Multiple cameras allow for more specialized capabilities and enhance the overall photography experience.

Apple’s devices, like the iPhone and iPad, come equipped with high-quality cameras that have advanced features such as Night Mode, Deep Fusion, and Smart HDR. The latest models often include multiple lenses, allowing for versatile photography options like wide, ultra-wide, and telephoto shots.

For video, Apple cameras support 4K recording and cinematic mode, which creates a depth-of-field effect for professional-looking videos. Additionally, the integration with apps like Photos and iMovie makes it easy to edit and share your images and videos.

If you’re considering Apple cameras for photography or videography, they offer a user-friendly experience and impressive results!
