Apple Computer Corporation has quietly settled a lawsuit for misadvertising.
Apple was/is selling the MacBook and the MacBook Pro claiming that it will produce 16.8 million colors when it will only produce 262,144 colors before dithering. The MacBook and MacBook Pros have six bit graphics displays whereas it requires an eight bit display to produce 16.8 million colors.
