Apple Talk Protocol

What is this Apple Talk Protocol? I cannot upgrade my Winn 2000 to Xp because it is saying it has conflick with this. It is suggesting that I uninstall it first before upgrading. But I don’t know where to find it. It wont come out on the search engine. Any advice?
