I Admin a network of about 50 Computers for a low-mid end graphic/animation shop. We are looking to update hardware and our servers. I was going to go with Dell and do the Windows 2000 thing, but I saw Apple’s new Xserve.
We have about 15 macs (20Dell boxes and therest are Nix boxes) We have thought about standardizing on one platform and had kinda settled on 2000 until one of our programmers went to Apple’s WWDC and told us (Showed as well) the next version of OSX codenamed jaguar. OSX withthis new Xserve sounds pretty sweet and looks like it will be a lot cheaper than going Dell.
