Application Memory Tuning

I am attempting to perform a 4-gigabyte Tuning process to allow an application to use 1 GB of the OS’s alloted 2 GB of RAM. However, when using the “imagecfg -1 .exe” command line function, it says that the “-1” is an invalid switch. Any suggestions? Thanks!
