Applied the wrong Multi-monitor setting.
The story:
It was late, I was tired and in a hurry.
Result: I applied a multi-monitor setting to my
46″ LCD setup using the 7800 NVIDIA AGP card software.
As I recall: I set it to a TV(primary unit) and LCD (secondary unit) setting.
I don’t have a TV that’ll hookup to my computer. My mouse cursor goes over (somewhere) off of my LCD screen to the left. I can right mouse click and get the applet with “Properties” at the bottom. BUT, when I click on the word “Properties” nothing comes up on my LCD screen (since it is set as the secondary monitor – I suppose). However, I can make new “folders” on my monitor and have my wallpaper showing on the desktop as well.
I have the “shut down sequence” memorized and can use my keyboard to do that without seeing the “Start” button and the “Shut Down” applet.
THE QUESTION: How do I get my video card applet to come up on my LCD, which is the secondary screen, . . . so that I can reset the monitor settings ???????????
Your help would be most appreciated. NVIDIA has not been able to help me ! ! !
Thank you for your time.
