Applying NT image to different hardware

Hi all,

Is it possible to apply a backup image to differnt hardware, i.e. different raid controllers etc using the bare metal restore method….i.e. recovery partition, restore boot and system partions and then copy the registry to alternate “new” primary partition as i know this works on identical hardware. How would i load scsi contollers\drivers etc before os has been loaded for the first time. (in essence creating a dual boot system and them blowing away initial repair partition)
