Apps for all users on an XP domain comp

By Ron@D.O. ·
OK, the answer is probably right in front of my face. How can I make available all the apps I?ve installed on the XP Pro computer under an admin login to all of the Domain Users who logon to that computer? I?ve tried to set a Group Policy up on the local, but it doesn?t seem to work all the time. Some programs I?ve installed are available to Domain Users, but most are not. What's with that???

profiles, local vs network domains and what program your installing.

For instance installing a PC game locally on a network domain workstation. The game is available and a shortcut shows up on the desktop when one logs in locally using the account the game was install on. However, when you log on that same computer to a network domain, the game shortcut doesn't appear on the desktop. that's two different profiles AND local vs network domain.
Making applications available to users on a network domain is best accomplished using the software installation Group Policy. That way, programs for users are available via add/remove programs.

Right click my pc, goto properties.. goto the profiles.

Copy the profile that has every single thing you installed and want for everyone else to the DEFAULT USER FOLDER...

Logon as a new user... Should be the same 1st time they open it...
