I have exch 5.5 sp3 and am using outlook client. I have many subfolders under the inbox. When trying to manually archive, many items do not archive. It seems random as I can’t find any consistent factors in the ones that don’t archive. I have beenall over the Knowledge base and can’t find a article that addresses it. I don’t have any storage limits on my mailbox, all items have received dates, and none are set with the “Do Not archive” option. Most items originated in the inbox or sent items folder but still some archive and some don’t. Some are RE: and some are FW: and some aren’t. I need to start teaching users how to archive but want to solve this issue first. Any ideas?
