Arcserve for Netware 7.0

By jcolome ·
Does anyone know how to completely un-install Arcserve 7.0 for netware 5.1 ? CA's web site goes into detail as to how to un-install Arcserve but for Windows not Netware. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Arcserve for Netware 7.0

first off, bring down the astart (arcserv) and make sure it's unloaded in netware. Once this is done, you have to have installed it somewhere on a windows machine then it had asked if you wanted to install it on the network and you gave it the path. Find this PC or load it onto another PC, then remove it from the directory on the actual netware server. After this is done find it in start up script and simply type "rem" in front of it. no links other than the original startup are in the netware server so you could just delete the whole line if you wish. As for the windows pc that you're using to get to this, just delete the program as you normally would a windows machine. There you have it. Mind you it's been quite some time since i last worked on a netware machine, but the startup script is equal to the script ran when it's starting up that would autoload arcserv(astart). Hope this fixes your problem.
