ArcserveIT 6.6 + Netware 4.11 Sp9

HI everybody!
Im experiencing slow backups performance (1,5 KBPS). CAI support fails to help me!!!!
Current hardware: Compaq ML370 + Adaptec 7940UW + Compaq TL8** libtary (dlt 35/70)
Any advice on how to speed this process will help me!!!

I have found a very simply an not well documented parameter in arcserve that does really a good job.
Have to edit your asconfig.ini and in the same line where arserve attemps to load the driver for the ADAPTEC board, at the end of the line type
USEABOVE 16
This forces the adapter to use memory above 16MB in order to get faster access.
My backuptimes were reduced up to 50%.
