I have been told that it is much harder or even impossible to get a virus on an Apple phone but I have no idea and was wondering if someone could clear this up for me, Thank you.

Despite installing various apps, I have been an Apple user since 2012, and I can honestly state that my phone has never been compromised. However, there is probably a risk if you purchased an iPhone that has already been jailbroken.

Ever see “Urgent action required!” or “Viruses have been detected on your Mac/Apple iPhone.” ?

These are fake scare screens to get folk to call the number so let’s call these SCAMS.

A virus is highly unlikely unless the owner/users jailbreak older iPhones.

Apple phones are generally less likely to get viruses compared to other devices, mainly because of iOS’s strict app review process and the way it sandboxes apps to prevent them from affecting the system or other apps. However, they’re not completely immune—phishing attacks or malicious links can still pose risks. Staying cautious and downloading apps only from the App Store helps keep your device safe.

Apple phones are less likely to get viruses due to their closed ecosystem and strict App Store security, which reduces malware risks. However, no device is completely immune, so users should stay cautious by avoiding suspicious links and downloads.
