It really doesn’t matter what it costs Apple, it is simply a matter of supply and demand. As long as the manufacturer sells phones at a premium price and customers are willing to pay for it, they will command premium prices. Welcome to Economics 101.

Never forget that there will be bargain phones available, many under $100, if a consumer is unwilling to pay for a premium phone and it has always been that way. Nothing new, next………

When you mention, ” I know apple always makes great products”, that reinforces my point.

They mostly deliver what some folk want. For some it’s a status symbol and not about utility.

I’m sure many folk know that guy with the Rolex.

It’s not uncommon for people to perceive Apple’s iPhone range as relatively expensive, considering the premium price tag. While Apple is known for delivering high-quality products with cutting-edge technology, some users may question whether the cost aligns with the features offered.

In terms of the actual production cost of an iPhone, it’s important to note that Apple doesn’t publicly disclose the specific breakdown of manufacturing expenses. However, various industry analyses suggest that the cost of materials and manufacturing for an iPhone is a fraction of its retail price.

Fans eagerly await the launch, excited about the potential features. However, when the price is revealed, some may feel it’s on the higher side, prompting discussions about whether the cost is justified by the experience it offers.

The perceived value often varies from person to person. Some prioritize the brand reputation, seamless integration of hardware and software, and the overall user experience, while others may seek more budget-friendly alternatives. It’s a subjective matter, and individual preferences play a significant role in determining whether the investment is worthwhile.
