I recruit for a global insurance firm looking for a mainframe manager in Japan and in my scouring of the earth I have noticed a complete lack of mainframe people. Where have they all gone?
It is understandable that you will not see so many given the antiquity of the technology but IBM are still kicking these machines out for major financial firms all over the globe. Where do the dinosaurs hide?
