Areas of web pages blocked out in red

Areas of some web pages are blocked out in solid red
For instance this “Tech Q&A” page has four red areas replacing the original text or inserts. (i.e. there is a red box under “Sponsored By” at the bottom right. When I left click on the red block, “Properties” gives the alternate text as “sun microsystems”). It is a fault with my set up as I get the same problem irrespective of the browser I use.
