ASA 5505 and Cisco VPN Client

by millergm . Updated 15 years, 1 month ago

I have an ASA 5505 VPN Router (replaced a Netgear FVS318). On the inside of the ASA5505, is a client computer w/ a VPN Client that allows me to connect to the hospital for purposes of revieweing radiology images on a PACS system. When I activate the VPN Client, the tunnel is created, but I am unable to ping the PACS IP address. I get an error 305006 : Regular translation creation failed for protocol 50 src inside a.b.c.c dst outside e.f.g.h

I also have a site to site VPN connection that I need to maintain for purposes of secure prescription writing across the internet.

what do I need to do to permit the VPN Client SW to get through my ASA 5505 and permit traffic?

Thanks in advance
