OCS Inventory / IRM

I can't recommend it because I've not used it extensively, but take a look at OCS inventory

also look at IRM which I have used but found it to be too cumbersome for my needs.

A company called Blue Ocean develops a product called Track-IT and it might be good for what you are looking to do and at an affordable price. If you are looking at tracking your software as well you might look at GASP software. there is a link through the BSA website.

Audit Wizard

Depending upon what you mean by 'asset tracking'... Check out Audit Wizard (Layton Technology). I have used it and found it works very well to audit networked machines - and it's not too pricey!

Check out SysAid made by Ilient. For so few computers, the software may even be free. We use it for our 350 pc's and it works well.

Customer service with Ilient is great as well.
