Assist: Window 2019 Datacenter Core – Tips, links

I’m heading down a road that I didn’t exactly intend to tread. I spec’d a solution using Windows Server 2019 Datacenter and was instead provided with a GUI-less Command prompt environment reminiscent of my old Novell days, and possible VAX. The more things change…
I have no doubt that I will figure this out. Given my timetable, a few weeks, I could really use some resource links, book referrals and tips from people who’ve successfully used this product to avoid pitfalls created our of ignorance.
My objective: Create a secure local environment where 4-6 Hyper-V Virtual machines can run.
Thanks in advance.

I’ll admit, I haven’t been back to Tech Republic in a number of years (10+) so I guess I can’t be too surprised that this question has gone unanswered by the community. While I still need the ‘experienced’ references of my fellow IT professionals, I haven’t been idle (no one in our position can afford to be).
So it can help someone else who may need the same info, here is what I’ve found so far. Feel free to add to the list.
