Asus b550A onboard RGB not working

Hey all,

Recently did a MOBO swap to the ASUS B550A. All parts work and Pc function normally, but the onboard RGB just doesn’t light up on the heat sinks.

I’ve tried windows reinstall, messing with Asus software ( the MOBO is detected in Armory software, allows me to “change colors” but the lights aren’t even on).

Anything I can do or is it just faulty?

Rear I/o

The shield on the rear I/o (top left white block) the logo is supposed to light up when on.

Also bottom right on the heat sink, there is a blue/purple line that is supposed to light up.

You are supposed to be able to control the color of these with the Asus software.

Are you talking about the ram sticks?

If so perhaps contact asus to see if that works with all brands of ram.

No the ram is fine, it’s all fully functional. I swapped my motherboard and it’s supposed to light up on certain parts like by the rear I/o shield. And it is not
