Attachments in Outlook XP

I have recently upgraded from Outlook 97 to XP and have noticed a difference in the way attachments are positioned in the email.
When sending an email using 97 the attachment appeared in the body of the message, at the bottom. Now in XP it appears in its own secion of the header.

How can I configure XP to attach attachments in the body of the message?
