I am running W2k OS and the rest of the office is using win 98 and win XP. I use sygate firewall. I keep getting alerts that different workstations are attempting to connect to my workstation. The network that I am on uses W2k server. I have traced many, however I have to be right on it or the trace does not work. Some go to the workstation and stop. One traced all the way to Prague. Are the attempts an intrusion (of course Prague) and someone is looking around? I dont understand why some of the traces report a disconnection since the workstations should be on all the time.
