I am an extreme newbie to Linux. Need help bad.
Please be very specific…I know nothing about Linux other than installing it just yesterday in a dual boot config w/ Win XP.
Audio card not working. It’s a AC97 sound card and Red Hat 9.2? is not recognizing it.
System is P4 2.6Mhz with 768MB RAM. 120GB hard drive…blah, blah blah.
Sound card is integrated on the motherboard. Everything else was detected automatically and so far, while not a Linux fan, I am impressed and just want to get the sound working so I can not just learn Linux and also enjoy it.
