I need to be able to audit the successful or unsuccessful writing of data to an external device such as a cd writer/floppy drive/zip drive. Does anyone know how to accomplish this within Windows 2000? As far as I know any object you need to audit has to have a SACL. If I can’t do this within the Windows OS, is there any third part applications that might do the trick?
