I have a user that is having a problem printing to her default printer. This printer is shared on the BDC. When she tries to print or tries to open the printer in her Printers folder, it gives her an error that the printer is not found. Yet, if she opens any other printers that are shared on the PDC, they open fine. As a workaround right now, she is able to go to Start, Run and type in the \\BDCservername. She then goes into the Printers folder and opens the same shared printer. It opens fine and then she can print normally again until her PC is restarted. I can’t figure out why this is happening. This is with a Windows 2003 Server and the user has XP SP2. She is the only one that uses this PC and there are many others with the same setup she has, but they are not having the same problem. Any help would be appreciated.
