Authentication of Remote Users.

By michael ·
With the increasing use of laptops remote users are dialling into our corporate network. I am being advised to install a dynamic password devices such as Secure ID or Cryptocard (little key ring devices with an LCD display).

Is this "over the top" security?

Any feedback on your experience with Secure ID or Cryptocard would be much appreciated.

The easy way

The easyest way is to make recall log on.
It funktion in this way:
You call your server and log on to it, and it the shot down the line and recall YOUR computer (from a MEMBER list)
In this way IF some one get a hold on one of your password it will aoutomaticly call the one with that password

Definitely Secure ID

I was SecureID and I/we have not had any bad experiences with it. Get the Key Fobs, they're not as fragile as the card version.
