I recently had to send my Toshiba Laptop back to the manufacturer for hard drive failure. Since that time, the auto complete feature does not work. I searched the Microsoft Knowledgebase and attempted the recommended solution, which was to delete the subkey folder under the Protected Storage System Provider subkey in the registry. I get an “error deleting key” message and the subkey is not deleted. Not to mention annoying, I’m becoming obsessed to finding the answer to this. Any Suggestions?
