    AUTO DIALING

    how can i disable auto dialing in windows xp? i tried with dialup prefrences and all the things but it is comming up continuly..

      Hello,
      if it’s IE you’re concerned about, right-click its icon, go to Properties and then Connections. You’ll have a list of those (or maybe just one…), and just set the radio button below to “Never dial a connection” (this may sound a bit different, but I have a PL version on all my machines…) :->

      Similarly, if it is outlook or outlook express then go into tools-settings or tools-services and disable autodial
